WP-United, not close enough

I set up a test server to give WU-United a try. Since the main developer has stopped, I was using a verison I found here:

http://www.nitemarecafe.com/2009/02/20/wp-united-061-rc-1-released/

After a false start and a failure to read directions I got it running. I was skeptical at first since it only used Wordpress, not WordpressMU, ...

Wordpress MU Update

I set up the new version of Wordpress on another website and tried it. The site seemed to work ok, but the URL (midatlantichorror.org) is so entrenched into the database, I could not fully test the site.

That being said, the admin account worked, and all the blogs showed up... so ...

i think i could do it with HTACCESS, but i'd have to look into it more.

one login to rule them all

as i posted earlier, i am looking to have one login for both WP and PHPBB

i found this: http://www.happypoet.com/hackery/wphpbb-login/

which appears to work, but by 'work' i'm not sure it does what i want it to do.

rather than have it set up the wordpress users, i think i am going ...

silence is not a sign

should anyone be actually reading this do not take my silence as a sign of non-work. if you could hear php bubble, javascript crackle and fizz, if you could see sparks from html, then you would think i was a mad scientist.

some to be revealed soon. some secrets to ...

i know this is for wordpress stuff... but hey, why not for the site as a whole? i mean i have machinations...
